Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 21 mm, 4.11 g, 7 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Treveri, after 316. CONSTANTINVS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. SOLI INVIC-TO COMITI / T - F / PTR Sol standing front, head to left, nude but for chlamys, raising his right hand in salute and holding globe in his left. Cf. RIC 41 (for prototype). Somewhat rough and with a flan crack, otherwise, very fine.
